The Features of comparative literature and its Aspects according to AL-Jaakhiz “A Descriptive Analysis in the Al-bayaan wa-Al-tabyeen”

Abstract

The term “comparative literature” is one of the most important and basic term which is introduced by the global world in the field of modern literature. It is a wide area of study all over the world, especially in Arabic literature; it needs books to cover every single aspects of it. This review paper aims at providing a short review about the feature of comparative literature and its Aspects in AL-BAYAAN WA-AL-TABYEEN which is known as major source of classical Arabic criticism as well as it is an encyclopedia of Arabic Literature which discussed the deferent aspects and features of comparative literature in ancient era. The book specifies the concepts of rhetoric according to Persians, Greeks, Romans, Indians and especially it’s includes the concepts of rhetoric in Arabic language. Moreover AL-BAYAAN WA-AL-TABYEEN is the book which discussed the many types of different literatures on the basis of comparative analysis by referring to the examples of poetry or speeches of the great scholars.

This research work will focus on “The Features of comparative literature and its Aspects in al bayaan wa-al-tabyeen” by pointing out its kinds discussed by Jaahez in the light of Arabic language. Moreover the paper will explore the types of illness like: Lisp and its kinds by analyzing the aspects of comparative linguistics likewise the specific accents of Persian, Nubtian, kuphian, khurasaanian, and sindhian.
