Abstract

It is clear as a day that two words of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) comprise a sea of rhetoric and eloquence, whose depth can offer a swimmer priceless pearl of wisdom. That is why in the field of research many scholars have completed their PhD thesis with regard to the mysteries of eloquence in Ahadis books. For instance, a bulk of research work exists on the rhetorical style of Ahadis from Sahi-Al-Bukhari and Sahi–Muslim. After persistent research it dawned upon me that the famous book Al-Mustadrik by Imam-Abu-Abdullah has been under research. That is why I decided to make it the topic of my research work. But due to the huge number of Ahadis in the book, I decided to focus on the Ahadis in Kitab-ul-Iman and Kitab-ul-Ilam and study semantic aspects and its rhetorical mysteries. This article thesis is divided into one introduction and three discussion chapters and conclusion.

In the introductory chapter the researcher has tried to highlight the elements of rhetoric and eloquence in Ahadis. In the first discussion chapter, I have focused the use of question words for the element of surprise, in the second the use of question words for acknowledgement and the third focuses on the use of question words for negation. This research will open up new and unexplored avenues for future research.
