At Al-Durar Research Journal, we believe in empowering authors. Unlike traditional publishing models, our policy ensures that:

  • Authors Retain Rights: Authors retain the full copyright of their research work without any restrictions.

  • First Publication Right: Authors grant the journal the right of first publication, allowing Al-Durar to identify itself as the original publisher of the work.

  • License to Journal: By submitting a manuscript, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive, perpetual license to publish, distribute, archive, and index the work in all digital and print formats.

2. Licensing (Creative Commons)

All research articles published in Al-Durar Research Journal are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

  • Permitted Action: This license allows anyone to copy, redistribute, remix, transform, and build upon the material in any medium or format, even for commercial purposes.

  • Requirement for Attribution: Any reuse or distribution must be accompanied by appropriate credit to the original author(s) and a clear citation of Al-Durar Research Journal as the original source of publication.

  • Open Exchange: This framework ensures maximum dissemination of knowledge in the field of Arabic and Islamic studies while protecting the author's reputation through proper attribution.

3. Author Warranties & Responsibilities

Upon submission of a manuscript, the author(s) warrant and represent that:

  • The work is original and has been authored by the person(s) named in the submission.

  • Deposit the Version of Record (Final Publisher’s PDF) in institutional repositories, subject-based archives, or personal websites immediately upon publication.

  • Share the published work on academic social networks (such as ResearchGate or Academia.edu) to promote scholarly discourse, provided that a link to the original publication on the journal’s website is included.
